This brooch was found and is in good pre-loved condition. It would have been made from a piece from a broken ceramic item.

This piece of ceramics is covered in light crazing -  it's chunkier than bone china, and appears to be a hand-painted design, and is of considerable age. The edges have been carved out in a design similar to the edge of a postage stamp.
